Thanks for posting this. As soon as I read this idiots comment, I thought of the Santos fight. Santos had him hurt 3-4 times to where I thought Margo was getting KTFO, but Santos never jumped on him and took advantage.

I believe that Cotto's accumulation will be worse than what Santos was able to do to him. Miguel and Daniel are friends, too, so I'm sure Santos will give him some pointers or, at the very least, be there to encourage him.

this is just plain and basic common sense. cotto is in for a big surprise when he feels true power for the first time in his life and when his best shots do nothing to hurt or stop margarito. all cottos shots will do is put a smile on margaritos face.

It's a lefty vs a righty, headbutts happen. It was a close fight that was stopped due to the cut. I don't believe it was a hometown decision. Even some of the mexicans that were watching the fight with me had Margarito down by a point at the time of stoppage. I lived in Cali at the time and I was the only PR in the room, lol.

Margo was rocked 3-4 times in that fight, Santos was rocked 2-3 times. And, yes, the fight was at 154.

Oh, and as for the natural WW comment, Quintana and Gomez are two natural WWs. Mosley might not be a natural WW, but he's heads and shoulders above Margarito.

is this a joke?? cintron is the second hardest hitter in the welterweight division and he couldnt make margarito flinch. no one has ever hurt this man in his career. the only reason cotto has a shot is because he is a good puncher of the body but i dont think it will be a factor because cotto doesnt have the chin to handle margaritos power.

Cotto has too much arsenal for Margarito. You're not gonna get another Cintron type fight with Cotto having his hands down and complainging about **** in the fight. Cotto's speed is going to throw Margarito off and frustrate him. He'll try to trade with Cotto early but i don't think he'll sucker him in. If Margarito tries trading in the later it's gonna be lights out for Marg.

point is Santos is a LOT bigger then Cotto. He was very heavy that night and the fight was at 154/ Meaning Cotto may not be able to hurt Margo, just because Santos did that night.
