Can anybody please tell me...
Why the hell is Pavlik fighting Lockett? do you reckon it's Enzo's way of testing the waters? surely he must train Lockett with a similar methodology as Calzaghe.

Lockett is a decent easy fight. Decent enough to be in there. Easy enough to not ruin any plans. It's a fair fight after Pavliks run.Comment

it's interesting to introduce Pavlik to a few more casual british boxing fans who will always follow a brit.
But yeah I don't think Lockett is better than Matthew Macklin or even Wayne El**** who Abraham dealt with.
Realistically his chances are in minuses.Comment

Lockett got the high ranking because Warren has influence with the WBO. Lockett took the fight because it's probably the only chance at a title he'll ever get and a career best payday.
Pavlik took the fight because it's a mandatory and it's a chance for him to look good.Comment
