floyd fans actually believe they are him.they speak for him like he doesn't do enough of that **** himself,hell they even quote themselves like anybody give a flying ****.

Some of us actually have credible arguements that **** all over your arguements.

Nah, Floyd is the one who's scared, his "fans" are just trying to cover his ass at all costs, even if it makes them look like idiots.

Why would he be scared?
I think the reason that it will not happen until LATER is because Floyd will do everything to hype up the fight. Be on talk shows, at events, maybe wrestle, or do another show. And Cotto cant promote for ****. He doesnt even know english. How is he going to be an attraction to white america. It's like having to cover some sorry ass workers ass at work that aint doin ****. So Cotto has to get to the point where his fighting speaks for itself. Where he creates a buzz like he is a monster. Where people think Floyd will lose. Like with Hatton.

So to reiterate, Cotto's fighting has to be has to promote itself, because Cotto cant promote himself to English speaking Americans. And Floyd is the guy at the job who is doing double the work cuz the other guy cant do ****. So thats why Floyd wants the Cotto fight to wait.

he never fought a young, prime, active, p4p fighter before he fought floyd

Cotto is a good fighter..... But if he was to fight Mayweather right now....
Only thing Cotto would be consider as is "Mayweather biggest threat"

It wouldn't be a fight in which two great fighters are fighting each other...

It would be another...

"Mayweather could possibly lose this fight..."

"Cotto could win this fight" Or "This fight would determine who is the greatest"
because cotto haven't done enough to be consider to be the great..

If Cotto beat Mayweather right now he would be like
"Vernon Forrest" or "Winky Wright"

If some people would READ what some fans (not huggers) are saying you would see that NOONE has said they wouldn't want to see the fight. Find me one recent post where someone said "I don't want to see Floyd fight Cotto". They are telling you why Cotto has to wait in line a bit longer, due to monetary issues of course. Oh well the fight will happen and we can all enjoy it.

I'm not saying anyone is scared, but other than Cotto can you name any other fighter Mayweather's fans have made so many stipulations for in order for a fight with Mayweather to happen?

How will beating a young green Cotto really boost the ALL TIME GREAT status that Floyd is trying to achieve ? But when he beats Cotto after he has developed to a great fighter, then Floyd beating Cotto has more value in the ATG status. Well what about DLH and RH? Well, I THINK he does it because he also wants to go down as one of the top selling fighters in history. He wants to make his money and be an ATG. So this is the best way to do it. Honestly, if he beat Cotto right now, there would be people saying that he is duck Margs. Am I lying?

I'm asking this 'cause I really want this fight to happen but all I see in the forum is 70% of the threads are related to the dream fight of Cotto vs Mayweather which is good it means people DO want to see the fight I think it'll sell better than DLH vs Mayweather II.

My question is why are Floyd Fans so defensive about a fight against Cotto wouldn't THAT BE GREAT. I mean if you're so sure your guy is going to win why complain about how much money will Mayweather make, or Cotto is not on the level of Floyd, Cotto is not a draw............... WHO CARES.


I personally think Floyd can win but I think Cotto can pull out the upset so, are you scared that Floyd can actually lose this fight.

I don't see them complaining about a the rematch against Oscar (because they think Floyd is going to win) so what do you think, are they scared that 0 could go or what?
