Floyd mayweather is worth way more than 70 million

Floyd had been guaranteed 5 million from judah and the ppv did do decent

Id say he got about 10 million.

baldomir did about the same numbers and he probably made 13 million

because he was guaranteed 8 million.

The gatti fight he probably made about 8 million because the ppv numbers did

the same as all the others

    thats 26 million from 2005 to 2006

Floyd made about 30 million with the oscar fight that pushes him up to

    56 million.

He had to make atleast 40 million from the hatton fight seeing that

he was guaranteed 20 milion and at the time had started mayweather

promotions which split the ppv pot with goldenboy.

that fight did 850,000 in the usa and 1.2 million in england those are

    f*king good numbers.

and we cant forget about the bull**** wwe stint he had which he so called

    made 20 mil

while i highly doubt he made that much money i wouldnt be surprised if he

    made 15 mil 10 atleast

I mean it was ppv and he was the main event

so mayweather is a close(not really) second.

Honestly these guys have a lot of people to pay. Its not like they get their full purses.

There are taxes. Trainers have to get paid, Gyms have to get paid. Doctors Lawyers. Here is a break down from another website

      Tax (28%) = $28,000

      Lawyer (5%) = $5,000

      Trainer (10%) = $10,000

      Boxer has $14,000 left

      $100,000 Purse (Net)

              Fighters have it rough man.

People forget about the 4 round fighters.

I wonder how much HBO made off DLH Mayweather.

Pretty big incentive to make HBO PPV stars.

Most fighters get paid squat and have to work full-time to eek out a living.

Marvin Johnson and Matthew Franklin/Saad Muhammad put on what was probably the greatest fight of the 70s and got paid less than $3,000.

                    Gross, not net.

unless your atleast in top 10 of your division.. and that only goes for some divisions.. you dont see much money in boxing.. unless you get picked to fight a really big name..
