    NOOOOOOOO.

Cotto made nowhere near those numbers.

Think about it: 20,000 seats at MSG at (average) 100 bucks per seat is a GROSS revenue of 2 million bucks. Then you gotta split that a bunch of ways. Even at 200 per seat, it is a fraction of PPV bucks.

Gate money doesn't make you rich. Pay per view dollars makes you rich.

From what i've heard, big george foreman is by far and away the richest boxer on earth, simply becuause of the lean mean grilling machine.
If your talking about current boxers then its without a doubt oscar de la hoya.

People are WAY WAY over estimating Mayweathers worth. I'd be very surprised is he is worth even 30 million in assets. One thing that is for sure. He will end up broke. He doesn't know how to hold onto his money.

Oscar's net worth is above $500,000,000 easily.

I would doubt Floyd's net worth is above $100,000,000. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't even half of that.

fROM SPORTS ILLUSTRATED... DLH MORE LIKE $150 million...

            nowhere near 500 mill...

La Hoya flips through a magazine advertising (what else?) multimillion-dollar aircraft, one of which he swears he will buy "when I can afford it" -- as if his net worth weren't already more than $150 million.

              These guys aren't that r"wealthy"

None of them have 500m in the bank LOL

Oscar's net worth is probably 200m i.e. investments, houses, cars, etc..
              and that's being very generous

But he is still the richest
I highly doubt Floyd is worth more than 100 m

It's not that hard to look up facts and figures on wealthy people.
It's the everyday Joe that's harder.

dlh is the richest, Forbes has pretty good lists and being companies subject to tax laws you get a very good idea of how much their net revenue is.

I'd believe 500 million for Tiger Woods, but not DLH.

                    Consider:

                    All royalties and promotional earnings.
Tens of millions owned in real-estate, that is only appreciating in value.
hundreds of millions earned through fight purses
The main partner of Golden Boy Promotions, the largest promotional company in boxing. His share in the company alone is worth at least another 50-100M.
