Then list the five fighters in their respective primes who you'd say should be favored above him.........and more importantly why.
Because as an outline we don't have to reminisce about the Compubox accuracy records, the multiple titles in different weight divisions, easily one of if not the greatest consummate showman as well as ring generals in the history of Championship level fighting, name it.
It really doesn't take a quantum physics methodology to describe what most of us (Those who don't, lol yeah it's understandable. They're newbs) know. If you saw him fight, name someone better.
I think Joe would easily account for Roy...it would be a fairly boring fight as RJJ is to defensive like Hopkins...RJJ has every chance of winning dont get me wrong but look at how Calzaghe took Care of Kessler convincingly...do you know what Kessler would do to RJJ and Hopkins??...Go for the bigger fights Joe...Pavlik or Mundine at least before you Retire man...prove your the best by beating the best...not "who was" the best!!
Your not too adepth at the study of boxing or the study of how a fighter fights apparently. Jones is not even close to being a defensive fighter. He covers up alot more now that he did in his prime, but does'nt ever hold or fight dirty. I think that you need to go back and look at some Rjj tapes on YouTube or something and speak with some sense and not just your heart.I like Joe but he needs Roy as much now as Roy needs him. BTW, there was an interview on here before that had Joe Calzaghe explaining that Roy Jones Jr. was the only fighter that he would NOT want to fight in his prime. It was taken in 2003, when Calzaghe was supposed to be trying to fight Jones. He knew he would get smacked and was aparently not willing to come here and fight the best.
