If Roy Jones prices himself out of this fight hes crazy. Just give Calzaghe anything he wants, otherwise he won't get the fight.
If I was Roy I'd just take like 30-70 and shut up...

Why is he crazy?
He's the Ring Magazine Fighter of the 1990s and many, many people have hailed him over the years as the best fighter ever.
Get whatever money he can, man. He don't need Calzaghe, who lost to Robin Reid. -
Good point. RJ is rich as a motha****a already. A fight wit Joe C gives him a chance to add to his legacy and go out like he made his greatest fame, P4P elite and LHW champ of the world. He ain't in a position to call many shots at the bargaining table right now either. Joe C said before he wouldn't waste time wit Roy cuz he'd been KO'd too many times. Since the Hopkins fight Calzaghe's feelin important, so don't bruise his ego and piss away the chance to whoop his ass Roy. Man I hope Roy don't blow this fight bitchin about money. I'd love to see him beat Joe C.Comment

If he were to beat Joe it would redeem this later part of his career. And the money for this fight is not going to be huge in any event. But Roy doesn't have to take too small a cut, because JC is not going to have bigger money offers. Only if Arum came through with an offer for Pavlik, which I don't see happeneing, would Roy get outbidComment

Legacy?
He's a 1988 Olympic Silver Medalist (final rated as the biggest robbery in boxing history), a 1986 under-139lb Golden Gloves king, a 1993-94 IBF middleweight champion of the WORLD (the guy he beat wouldn't lose again for over a dozen years, and would unify the historical division), a 1994-96 IBF super-middleweight champion of the WORLD (the guy he beat was rated as the best fighter ever), a 2003 HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD, and a 5-time light-heavyweight champ of the WORLD. **** legacy, ******. If he gets knocked out by Calzaghe, who is rated as a *****-patter pitter, then legacy is ****ered.Comment
