De La Hoya/Julio Cesar Chavez sparring?

Around the time of the first De La Hoya v Chavez fight i remember reading that the two once sparred around the time Oscar went to the olympics and Chavez did a number on him, does anyone else know anything about this?

Yup there are actually three or four videos of them sparring I forgot the site you can find them at but they are out there.

I forgot where I saw it. There's a sparring video with where Chavez puts DLH on his ass.

i've seen one......dlh is pretty much controlling chavez till chavez kinda lands a left hook to the body and oscar in his urgency to evade it steps back a little too fast and slips......the chavez nutuggers or oscar haters will undoublty say it was a knockdown ....im a huuge fan of both and i think it was a punch-slip at the same time...

The slip you're talking about must be another video that i've seen. I've seen teh video where Delahoya is bombing on Chavez and then Chavez puts some mustard on an over hand right that drops Delahoya.

The slip you're talking about must be another video that i've seen. I've seen teh video where Delahoya is bombing on Chavez and then Chavez puts some mustard on an over hand right that drops Delahoya.

That's the one I saw. I think I saw it on a short documentary about Delahoya.
