i can agree that briggs is an f class fighter. He got a gift against foreman in the 90's and won a belt off of one single flury against a weak chinned russian. peter isn't the second coming of ali or anything but atleast he's fun to watch. Briggs has no skills. He can just punch. go fight in a tough man contest.

i agree betterthansugar. briggs is nothing more than a black version of butterbean. No boxing skill whatsoever!! Just throws punches. why does he even have a trainer???? Peter would beat him hands down. The heavyweight era is over. they would even consider a trilogy of holyfield vs tyson. Evidence thre is nothing left of that division. We will always have our memories of the past

You do have to give it up to peter. he is doing his homework and getting a better grade each fight. he went from slugger to boxer. using head movements jabs and combinations. I think peter has a chance of unifying the division finally dethrowning whvladimir.

Peter's resistance has never been the same since he got clocked by Klitschko. I'd like to see him clean up the division but I'm not sure that he can. He barely came out alive against McCline and he looked average against Maskaev.

I dont know about sam peter, he looked horrible against mccline and barely pulled it out. I lost alot of respect for him then because he is supposed to be getting better and to struggle against a jameel mccline is not a good sign. I dont think he beats klitschko, either one.

And Briggs is a decent fighter he would give sam a good run for maybe the first 3 rounds then his asthma would kick in (you can tell briggs really struggles with that asthma in his fights). And I didnt know Yoel judah was his trainer no wonder hes an underachiever too a la Zab
