Prime for Prime, it would have been my boy Ouma. But today, Williams will take it. Ouma is an interesting case in the sense that he went from a volume puncher to a guy who really just waits on his opponents.

Yeah, that Olivera v. Phillips fight was some slow punchs. I remeber seeing the Padilla v. Olivera fight when it happened remember it was a good action fight but don't recall any real detail since its been years ago that fight happend and havn't seen the fight again.

I think Padilla also used to hold the record for most punchs thrown in a fight but now i belive Margarito holds that record.

Ouma is probably at the end of his career. Williams doesn't throw as many punchs anymore as evidence agianst his last opponet. Though what made Williams, clinch, punch, throw -repeat. He got away from this, not sure why since it worked for him, but it was horrable to watch at times when you're rooting for the other guy to win.

I think you are right that it was Padilla's record that Margarito broke.

I think Williams didn't throw as many punches because his opponent was moving all the time and countering beautifully. A great counterpunch is absolute poison for a volume puncher.

I think it's the mentality behind that weed. He's not addicted to the hash, just the lifestyle as a whole. Dude had a ****ing tough life... in a way you can't blame him for taking his foot off the gas peddle a little bit once he's living comfortably. But at the same time, it's a shame to see him waste potential. I've been told about his gym habits nowadays, and it aint good.
