Saw the fight, a ****ing disgrace, its obvious people have problems scoring boxing fights. It was a close fight, i had it by 1 point for hopkins.

Calzaghe landed about 10 clean punches the entire fight. Hopkins has him stunned twice in rounds 1 and 7, and came out exactly the way he came into the fight, how the **** can people honestly think he had 200 punches landed on him.

This proves anyone can be a pro, going in a throwing 1,000 slaps is good enough to win a professional contest, no way would prime hop have lost this fight.

Hopkins landed good right hand and was clearly landing body and uppercuts inside, calzaghe landed some good shots and left hands late on, but **** me, this guy is a windmill, throws for the sake of throwing, he couldnt hit hopkins for most of that fight.

How anyone can honestly put calzaghe in the league of roy jones and james toney skillswise, i dont know.

We can discuss it after F1.

It was very close, i score fight on LANDED punches, not windmill style kung fu.

It was a confortable victory. Technical Skill is one of these guys who will NEVER give Calzaghe credit because he literally hates the fact that people dare to compare Calzaghe's skill, ability and accolades with those of his favourite fighters. He hates Calzaghe merely by association. He hates the fact that Calzaghe beat Hopkins because that gives comparisons to Jones and if Calzaghe faces and defeats Jones, not only will he claim that it was unfair/cheating/a robbery, he'll not even talk about the fight...only that Calzaghe wouldnt beat Jones in his prime/was never on the same level as Jones.

Nah i just like boxing, and can acutally score fights properly, LANDED PUNCHES, not that 1970's windmill kung fu i just had to sit though, VERY close fight, i had it by 1 point for hops, i had 2 drawn rounds also, but calzaghe hardly landed on him, dunno what fight you were watching, then again, after you said hatton would KO mayweather in 2 rounds, and that jermaine taylor was p4p number 1, your hardly one to critcise me about boxing.

i dont know how u can say comfortably Hopkins won the first 4 rounds & scored a knockdown which was an 10 /8 round

so thier is 5 rounds in the bag before he is even into the 5th round , he then only needs a a point from the remaining rounds to get at the very least a draw

No mate, but professionals are. The fight was almost unanimously scored, by ringside officials, by commentators, by networks, by experts, by ex-boxers, by boxing writers as a victory for Calzaghe. So why should you place so much credibility in your own judgements? What are your credentials to do such a thing?

Sometimes someone gets robbed on the cards mate, we both know it. The reason it gets publicised as a robbery is because everyone OUTSIDE of the judging table scores it differently (like the Johnson vs Dawson fight)...that didnt happen here. The reason you scored differently is the reason that I already stated.

Wait a minute...Ricky didnt KO Floyd in two rounds? I switched off when he wobbled him in the first, figured it was inevitable. Damn.

You also make it sound like I had professed Jermain Taylor as a P4P number 1 in my own judgement. When in actually I had read that he had been installed as such after the Hopkins fight. If these are the arguments you use to make yourself appear right and knowledgeable, its no wonder you've convinced yourself that Hopkins won that fight.

Hopkins didn't win the first four rounds.

Hopkins only won one round comfortably, and that on a terrible flash KD. Joe won six easily and by a wide margin. People have to stretch and give Hopkins every close round to keep from accepting that Joe is what he is
