Why are the best fighters hated on so much?

Joe Calzaghe has been receiving a lot of hate lately. As well, there have been numerous threads and posts bashing Floyd Mayweather, here and on other boxing websites.

After Wladimir Klitschko unified the two heavyweight titles, he received more negative comments than ever before, here and in other boxing forums!

Why do some people hate on the best fighters? Do we demand they be supermen and infallible, and have unrealistic expectations of them? Shouldn't people learn to accept the reality that none of them are perfect - that they're only human?

Joe C gets hated on cuz he ain't American, he don't throw punches with conviction, and kinda like Taylor he took B-Hop's title without decisively beatin him. Floyd gets hated on cuz he won't fight the toughest comp in his division when he's supposed to be the world champ. Wlad's just gettin criticized right now cuz he ****** against Sultan. Overall, he's mostly well respected nowadays.

joe and mayweather is hate i agree but klitschko last fight was rubbish... people will not admit that there are the best in there devisions and don't like the fact that there fighters they like more are not the best.

i dont hate on joe calzaghe.. i dont think he is anything super special boxing wise.. he doesnt deserve the credit hes getting.. he landed maybe 5 CLEAN shots that WHOLE fight.. volume won that fight.. and anyone can jut punch alot..

They're the best in their respected divisions. They will have many critics.

They probably have more haters then fans. Simple really......there's always a fighter that somebody has to beat to become known as the best. When they do that......there is always another somebody to beat.

Its down to them not fighting the fighters we want them to face..
Thats the only reason i hate certain fighters if i hate any at all...
