Tonight Julio Diaz will be attempting to make a comeback by fighting the undefeated David Torres. Although Julio is coming off a pretty one sided loss to Juan Diaz, the fight was competitive the whole time, and Julio has very good wins in his career and gave Castillo quite a fight too. and amazingly, hes only 28. so its very possible for him to make a comeback. David Torres doesnt seem to have fought anyone of note...so this fight can either expose his built up record or send him into the mix of the Lightweight division, which will be stacked in a short time.

On the undercard, Henry Buchanan and Brian Norman will be going 10 rounds or less in a super middleweight fight. Both these guys have lost every time they stepped up, so dont expect too much...on the other hand, Buchanan's nickname is 'Sugar Poo'...what the hell. I have to see this guy fight

Ive never seen Torres before, but the whole thing with Diaz not making weight kind of surprises me. its possible we could see another upset tonight. ESPN has had a ton of em

wow, Julio dominated. he looked almost as good as he did against Jesus Chavez, except a tiny bit slower. Wish he could have ended the fight a little more dramatically than that...dont really care for those kind of doctor stoppages. but not a big deal.

feel bad for Julio. hes a very skilled fighter, but it just doesnt seem to be enough sometimes.
It must suck to be in such a stacked Lightweight division, haha. He should just go up to 140, he could really do some damage there.

Tonight Breidas Prescott and Richard Abril are fighting tonight at Lightweight, over 10 rounds. Prescott was supposed to fight someone else actually, but on boxrec it has this Abril guy...dunno. Anyway, both these guys are undefeated, and both have built up records! One is Columbian and one is Cuban...Im gonna go for the Columbian, because Columbians have been owning on FNFs.

On the undercard, two guys I dont know at all are gonna be fightin. Its at Welterweight.

In other news, Abner Mares is fighting tonight on Telefutura! I dunno who hes fighting, but Mares seems like a hell of a fighter. Mexicans always make good fights, wish I had Telefutura.

some guys just like the big names, I like boxing. nothing wrong with just liking the big names though, I welcome all the fans.

kind of surprised no one cares about the Mares fight though, even if he is fighting a nobody.
