I agree, I thought he boxed pretty well too.

As for his race....it does seem that American white fighters get overly criticized. If he had been Russian or Ukrainian people would be all over his nuts.

he had a little excessive movement early to mid round that looked tiresome. but after a while, I think he got it under control and did end up managing the fight nicely when looked at as a whole. i thought i had seem him before gassing out in a prior fight but I can't remember now due to this damn blunt im smoking. Anyway, the wide shoulders and how he used them..as well as how he moved around reminded me of Cintron - not so much when he opened up but in other areas. On top of that, he also popped into mind because of also had the limited amateur background, but combat sports experience just like Algieri. Cintron had power so he could move up the ranks and hide deficiences, algieri i think might have a harder time going that far (idk if he even has an interest in doing that, but he can have cool fights since he has hometown fans).. I'll take it fight by fight.
