I'm just curious as to how bad the competition was that he was fighting to be undefeated with 12 KO's out of 14 fights? I mean this dude looked like he had never been in a boxing ring before, wide as heck, sloppy, the worst balance I have ever seen....utter garbage.

That tells you everything on what level boxers they have over there.

I actually agree with Teddy Atlas when he was ranting Alvarado actually got hurt when he tried to box.

Hes an absolute sucker for that right hand over that lazy jab & he keeps his left hand dangerously low. Prescott couldn't miss with the right hand. He has no head movement at all and doesn't even attempt to roll with shots.

MMA would hurt them in that regard, not help them. it'll pull from the talent pool. they're athletic people, brazilians. lots of strong dudes who are lean.
