Hey F-R-K-O, in all fairness here Calzaghe didn't look good either. It's easy to point out what hopkins did wrong since he lost. But if I were a Calzaghe fan, this is the one fight I'd love to forget and not mention, because both fighters didn't look close to their bests.

Yes, hopkins clinched a lot. It was ugly. Calzaghe on the other hand allowed it to happen for the most part and didn't really do much to impress.

Now of course Calzaghe did do what he was supposed to do - outwork hopkins. So he gets credit where it's due. He got the W and ultimately that's all that matters. Not an easy task to do against a vet like hopkins. But lets be real - he looked like **** doing it.

Glad you agree. And on the flip side, this was the worst performance I've ever seen from Hopkins and I've pretty much seen every fight of his. The winky fight was pretty bad too, but this was worse. Against Winky, I kinda wrote it off as it being a bad match up - both guys make their opponents look like **** so naturally it would be ugly. Well now looking back, that was a clear sign of Hopkins simply not being what he used to be. He has to rely on excessive clinching in order to slow down the pace because he simply cant keep up anymore. And he proved that against Calzaghe.

I bet FW won't release that **** on DVD like the Lacy and Kessler fights. lol

B-Hops is impressive in the way he can fight at the very highest level at 43 and make everyone look a bit **** but that's all. Hopkins could have concievably got a decision but it would have been depressing.
