Who gives a ****?...I didnt see Clinches battering Pavliks lanky ass all over the ring..it was flush punches that he had no defense for.

Clinches are a SMART move for a boxer.

Cotto didnt clinch ONCE vs. Margarito....had he clinched he woudve won in my eyes.....you dont bend over and cover your ears you CLINCH.

      dats alot of clinches,
but then again he was 43 years old,
he wasnt like that when he was younger,

but 43 is very old for a boxer.

Hopkins is STILL > Calzaghe.......even with 160 clinches and a SD loss to the man..........Calzaghe better step his game up........my bad, his game is over!........Hopkins-Calzaghe wasn't a good fight so what was the intentions of this thread?.........sneak dissin' is gettin' more and more popular in hip hop........and thats why some of the music has lost the substance needed to reach and touch the audiences.........this thread doesnt have substance my dude!!

He's a Calzaghe fanboy. He feels compelled to make excuses for Calzaghe and how he looked without considering how old Hopkins is. He doesn't realize that it trumps any excuse Calzaghe could possibly have. It's just fanboy nature, What can you do?

Some were but Hopkins was the only one trying to actually fight and land clean punches and not just rack up points by throwing volumes of non devastating shots, well outside the low blow.

Hopkins did fluck all, without Calzaghe coming forward there wouldn't have been a fight. In the 11th round Hopkins took a knee from a left hand body shot and the paid off ref didn't even count. (This is not even counting the 5 minute break the loser took in the 10th round). The 10th round with Hopkins rolling around on the floor will go down in boxing history on video as making him look the biggest coward in that era of boxing.

There were quite a number of times Hopkins tried to hold but failed. These failed attempts are, of course, not counted. Near the end of round 11, Hopkins tried to bait Calzaghe into a brawl, so Calzaghe came forward... and they clinched. LOL.

                  Round 01: 3
                  Round 02: 12
                  Round 03: 14
                  Round 04: 16
                  Round 05: 12
                  Round 06: 16
                  Round 07: 14
                  Round 08: 13
                  Round 09: 12
                  Round 10: 15
                  Round 11: 15
                  Round 12: 18

                  Total = 160

Even more clinches in this fight than Hopkins against Winky Wright (127). Is it any wonder why Calzaghe looked like crap in this fight?
                  I dare you to..

Count the clinches in the Brewer fight.

Count the clinches in the Bika fight.

Joe was clinching more than a gay octopus with a velcro fetish.

Again, His fanboy vision makes it impossible to see that.
