He didn't "school" Trinidad. They were roughly even after the first 6 rouinds, but Oscar was winningg his more flamboyantly. In the middle of the 5th round Trinidad hit him a massive body punch which momentarily doubled Oscar up, and he began to take evasive action from then on. Also Trinidad adjusted around then and began to crowd him closer. Oscar has NEVER liked this. It increased, round by round so that for the last 4 full rounds he was running, and Trinidad was chasing. The last 2 rounds for sure, maybe 3, reminded me of the 3rd round of the Hearns-Hagler fight, with Tommy trying to get away, almost turning his back to run. Trinidad deserved the win, but it wasn't pretty.

As for the 1st Mosely fight, to call that positive, clear unanimous win a "split-decision" just stunk out the arena. The second fight was a bit closer than the first. The rounds were closer. But the LAST HALF of the fight was ALL Mosely. There weren't many solid punches thrown nor landed, but 90% of them came from Mosely. His body shots were so massive, that I expected his glove to come right through Oscar's body. You sound as if you don't recall how Oscar, even wiith his "neck-high", specially built protective corset, was hunching over, trying to protect his body, and hardly punching back. It was not nice to see him take all that, but he absorbed it and didn't go down. Mosely deserved to win.

        • at anyone gullible enough to believe DLH would fight Cotto just 3 months after beating Mayweather if he were to pull off the upset.

That fight would take WWAAAYYY more time to properly promote.

          May 2009 if it happens.

He ain't even gonna beat Mayweather, they should cancel that fight, and have Cotto-De La Hoya in September.

Exactly. DLH fighting 3 times in one year makes me laugh. He hasn't done that since 1999 so why the **** would he start now. Give us a break Oscar, he's just trying to build up the Mayweather rematch.
