Once Cotto gets to the point where ma pops and other church members *(who watch most fights with big names)* Knows sumthin about cotto without me telling them I Will Know cotto is there.


They talk about Floyd / some mentioned hopkins.. They talk Oscar de la hoya / They talk contender names... They've never said anything about Cotto.

Fans of boxing that aren't hardcore/hispanic don't know Who Cotto is...


Floyd doesn't have to fight him if only the people care consist of one race and other diehard fans *(which are then again split by people who think he would win anyway)*... He's in it for the money now.

HBO is already building the hype for Cotto. They're indirectly saying Cotto is the man to beat Mayweather. Must I say again - how many people showed up to Hatton/Mayweather just off the strength of hearing that some little British guy might KO Mayweather? You think Hollywood A list actors are huge boxing fans? Angelina Jolie didn't even have a seat if I recall correctly. Cotto definitely is a big enough draw for the fight to make sick bank - but if HBO approaches it correctly and bills it as the fight has potential to SERIOUSLY end Mays reign unlike an Oscar or Hatton rematch the buzz/hype will be insane.

My girls sister and her man tried to do it recently...

They tried to migrate like all the Puerto Ricans seem to be doing...

But they moved back in about six months...

They said there is no work, too much traffic, cost of living bunch of bull**** they say...

Mayweather has went out of his way to build a "Fan Base" which is equivqlent to love/hate following (Dancing with the Stars, WWE = Global notoriety) Cotto on the other hand~ Ny, Puerto Rico = relatively unknown. surely this has the makings of the HUGEST event EVER in Boxing History.
