B-4 the 5th rd, no power or not, he was standing right in front on Baldy hitting him at will, with no return fire...matter fact I believe had he not broken his hand Baldomir would have quit! If you go back and watch after the 1st rd Baldy was so frustrated, he waved his hands at floyd as to say "hell with you" ala Duran's "No Mas Fight" Floyd pot-shotted his way to one of the worst/boring/unentertaining perfromances I've seen in my life! Vernon TRIED to knock Baldy out & was unsuccessful in his attempt, & didn't hurt Baldy 1 time!

It was funny b/c i remember hearing people say...Floyd does not have the power to keep Blady off he will NEED to be on his BICYCLE ALL NITE!! The fight still ****** though...

Back to the topic, Floyd & his handlers are beginning to sound real contradictory when they say someone doesn't have a large enough fan base & doesn't deserve it, when Gatti (b-4 he was on ppv) & Oscar (after a very un-inspiring performance) gave him his chances ...It's making Floyd look real weak/scary when you make statements/excuses everytime someone mentions you fighting a legitimate threat! Stop with the excuses Money Man!

By the way, I totally and completely had faith that the Cotto fight was going to come off after Floyd got another payday from Oscar De La Hoya, but now that he is talking about "Cotto not important" and that he wants to rematch Ricky Hatton... it seems pretty clear that Floyd has other ideas of what is an important matchup than EVERY OTHER PERSON who is knowledgable about boxing.

Unless you think that the Ricky Hatton rematch is more warranted than a fight against Miguel Cotto.

How many years did it take Cotto to headline a PPV event? 2 3? Mayweather will never fight Cotto and will be looked at as a coward. Everyone in boxing knows it. Theres not one fight people would rather see. As pressure builds up he will use Arum as an Excuse not to fight him. Yet he talks about a fight with Pacman hes a joke.

Actually, miguel Cotto has been on PPV, but his numbers have been terrible. So it is appropriate to question the business judgment of Arum/Cotto.

If the huge fight is slated for September, how can the contracts not be done by July?

HBO needs to lock down a date. the casinos need to lock down the tickets/sales/logistics, fighters won't go to camp without the contracts, the venue needs to secure the date.
