Pavlik has a high workrate also and Jermain didn't crumble and Pavlik has much more power than Joe. It is hard to put out a high work rate against Jermain just like it is against Hopkins. If Joe beats Jermain, he will do it with using his lefty stance to his advantage as Jermain hates fighting lefties.

If he fights jermain like he did hopkins though he will lose. Joe will have to fight Jermain very smart to beat him as jumping in and flailing will not serve him well.

He did at that. It was a combination of his ability to take a great shot, being fresh early in the fight and it landing high on his head that he took it so well. That was simply an atomic bomb of a punch.

How the **** did Taylor take that. IT nailed him flush in the face. That was a massive right hand.

I have a new theory about that first fight. I think Taylor was fiercely discouraged and frustrated that dispite throwing everything at Pavlik, Pavlik wasnt going anywhere, and he mentally checked out
Thanks bro. I think I noticed that about 2 months ago

I reckon JC would have a much easier time with Jermain. Hopkins' style is just a nightmare for most, barely anyone except Jones has looked OK against him because he spoils, holds, butts, and all the other usual tricks.

Calzaghe-Hopkins was absolutely the worst performance from Calzaghe I've ever witnessed and I give credit to Hops for making it that way, as much as I dislike his spoiler style. It frustrates the hell out of me just watching him, so I imagine it's 100 times worse if you're in the ring with the dude.

I'd imagine Jermain is much easier to deal with. He fights a much cleaner fight, doesn't constantly hold, rush at you head first, back-peddle, and he certainly doesn't intentionally butt and foul from what I've seen. I have a lot of time for Taylor. Great boxer. Shame about his stamina issues.
