The fighter who most embodies what a boxer should be...

Winky and Glen Johnson ain't always exciting but they have been willing in the past to travel wherever necessary to get a fight. Pac is an all action guy and so is Morales. Too many tough warriors to choose just one.Comment

Kind of strange that Winky is refusing to fight anyone except for a money-maker now, considering what he had to do in his early career (travel, fight for peanuts, etc.)Comment

For me, Alexis Arguello is the man who really embodied what was greatest in the sport.
A superb array of challengers, over 20 title fights, fought something like 20 past, present, future or fellow champions, was always gracious in the ring & out, great technician who could adapt superbly in the ring, always looked to close the show...
This was the man as far as I'm concerned.
---
In recent years, Erik Morales was my favourite up until his sudden decline.
Still a classy guy, but he's put his body through too much over the years.
---
Currently it's probably Juan Manuel Marquez, followed by Israel Vazquez & Rafael Marquez.
---
The fighters I really admire show class in & out of the ring, are willing to take real fights on a regular basis, can do a little of everything in the ring, & look to close the show.Comment
