How close was Hopkins - Calzaghe?

We all know Joe won, and we should all accept it, but how close was the fight?

After two repeat viewings, I think it was incredibly close, and that it could easily have gone either way. What do you think?

...I don't think it was that close. 116-111 seems about right.

Calzaghe won the fight, especially if you are scoring olympic style.
His slaps of Hopkins counted more than the few solid shots he got caught with.
Probably 7 rounds to 4,1 even...with one of Hopkins being a 2 pointer.

I'd say close enough to go either way, but I had Hopkins winning.

I think watching the fight back in particular, it's easy to watch the loser more to investigate further, if claims of being more subtly effective are true. That leaves you not noticing the effectiveness of the winner so much, so you wind up debating it again.

                    Clear Calzaghe win just.

I think the poll could do with another option of, Close, but Calzaghe win. After all, that's what it was!
