I have my fighters that I nut hug there is no doubt it and in this case Floyd or Cotto...neither guy is a fighter that I love or am passionate about. (****loads of respect for both guys but thats it)

With that said Im just a cult fan with an unbiased persepctive.

Floyd is the best p4p fighter on the planet...that could change if he thinks he is simply going to use 2008 as a duplication of 2007 with Oscar and Ricky...but for now he is the man.

Miguel is clearly the fighter he needs to fight-if he wins then I would tell Floyd to fight whoever or do what ever the **** he wanted because his legacy would be cemented...and his "all time" label would apply in some cases.

Put a gun to my head and ask me pick the winner or die...

      Im taking Cotto.

When someone doesn't like a person they try and dig deep so they can find reasons to talk **** about them. Beating Cotto wont change these people...it will only get worse IMO

Floyd's legacy is already cemented. But I do agree he needs to beat Cotto to shut some people/critics up.

I mean that's without saying. Everyone is going to say something similar. But if you look at those guys simply upon their skills in the ring, none of them then or now could handle Cotto.

I can go on and on about what those fighters lacked individually, but none of them were the total package Cotto is today. Oscar is possibly the closest thing, but he was already a shadow of his former self when they first fought (I know i know...excuses, but it is what it is).

I always ask this to people who doubt Cotto, Can he beat Oscar & Hatton now? Every answer I get (from both Floyd & Cotto fans) is "Cotto by KO".

His legacy at the Lower weight classes is pretty much cemented if u ask me, but what has he done from 140 and up, to say that his legacy/atg status is cemented?

Floy should retire or Cotto would retire him!

Hatton, DLH, Judah, Its not bad either is it? I agree thought having Cotto in that list will do him good. And also i need to ask you a few questions

Did you genuinely think Hatton would beat Floyd or where you just rooting for Hatton because you dont like Floyd?

Do you genuinely/seriously think Cotto will beat Floyd or will you just root for Cotto because you dont really like Floyd? Its okay you dont need to like him I'm just asking out of curiousity. Do you just want to see this fight? Who do you think will win

And finally, why havent you voted on this thread yet?

Ok, I can feel that. I think Cotto beats Hatton too, but Oscar I don't know for sure. Now I know he beat Mosley who beat Oscar. But styles make fights and I believe Cotto struggles with boxers especially one like Oscar with his jab and power and decetn footwork.
