Poll: Cotto or Floyd?

I discredit floyd for not making this fight happen. This fight needs to happen. A lot of people call floyd names for not making the fight happen and rightfully so but when they say cotto will smoke floyd ,thats when fans start to become a little delusional. It will be a close fight no doubt but floyd is quicker, he is the better boxer and he hits harder than a lot of people think. Floyd UD if this fight happens and if it doesn't floyd will loose more respect than he already has.

But I still got Cotto by UD or late stoppage.

Floyd is the better technical & defensive fighter, but I don't think that's enough to frustrate Cotto who I believe will surprise the skeptics on how well he can really box. Granted he'll take a punch to give a punch, but in a fight with Floyd I don't think he'll be seriously hurt from Mayweather's punches if he goes that route in the mid rounds (let alone he'd be coming off a fight with Margarito who isn't even half as technical as Floyd but packs a way harder punch).

I think the general consensus on here (Cotto fans or not) is that Cotto is Floyd's biggest threat and is in now way comparable to any fighter Floyd has fought (same goes for Cotto).

To me, this is a pick'em fight. Both fighters have the tools to upset one another. I will be rooting for Cotto IF this fighting ever becomes a reality, but to be honest, i dont care who wins. I just wanna see the fight.

cotto by split decision.i think cotto will surprised floyd at first winning 2 of the first three rounds.floyd wins the next 2 making it an even fight.cotto wins the 6th round to even the fight.and it goes back and forth till the tenth when cotto turns on the gears starts pressing him and wins on activity.a sd.

I for "1" was telling everyone Floyd was gonna wipe the floor with Hatton. The fight was sold soley off of Hatton talkin ****. Total mismatch from the first drop of ink on the contract.

The fact that people are talking about Cotto vs Floyd in the boxing media, here, and anywhere else where boxing is involved without there even being an official meeting to sanction the fight shows the magnitude this fight can have next year.
