Why did Kellerman keep going on about Eubank?

When Joe went down, he said Eubank had dropped him too. He also said it to Joe in the post-fight interview.

Don't know if this was posted, but it's clear Max thought it was fact, not a mistake, else he wouldn't have mentioned it twice. Did he watch the Eubank Calzaghe fight, or did he hear someone talking about it in the toilets at HBO?

He was on about the reversals. Joe dropped Eubank in round 1. Hopkins dropped Calzaghe in round 1, but he came through and won.

He's probably seen the fight....that guy knows a lot about Boxing in general even if he has an annoying voice.

It surprises me that Kellerman would make a mistake this big. He's very **** with having his facts straight, almost to the point where it seems like he's trying to impress you with his extensive knowledge.....

He seems to have a bias against certain fighters - a kind of agenda. He doesn't like the Klitschkos, Pavlik, Hatton etc.

I'm sure he knows it was Calzaghe who decked Eubank, but it changed it deliberately. Many of his comments were unfairly negative about Joe throughout the fight, while Steward's, Lampley's and Lederman's comments were fair and balanced.

**** I just misread the originial thing and realized that Joe had knocked down Eubank insted.

            Yeah....that is weird.

Why would he blatantly get that wrong just to discredit Calzaghe? That is completely ******ed.

Kellerman doesn't seem like such a nice good natured guy - he comes across to me as having a hard edge.

If you are that naive to believe no one would do something like that, then that's really ******ed.

I just don't see the logic in it... Why would he get a fact completely wrong and look like an ass just to insult a fighter? I could have chosen better words, I don't mean to be offensive...

It'd be like a bad scooby doo episode.

                    "ARGH THAT DAMN CALZAGHE!"

Tunney: "HAH! I've got you now. Too bad you aren't black Kellerman or I would you you accuse of being a biggot and a racist!"

Kellerman: "Argh and I would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for you and your super slueth skills"
