Out of those listed in their current form, Joan Guzman - no question.

However, as someone mentioned, Gamboa is probably faster, although he hasn't cracked the elite level as a fighter yet.

overall, it's mayweather and it's no competition. zab has faster/more powerful handspeed and joe and manny throw more, and roy throws faster combos, but none of them is faster overall more than floyd is, and i can claim this because of compubox stats and puches landed against him, overall, he leads. add to this, i know boxing and have watched every fighter on that list careers, and i know for a fact that floyd is faster overall p4p. he takes the least punishment, his defense is the best in boxing, his movement is the most fluent in boxing, and he is the most technically sound fighter p4p in boxing followed ny calderon who's overall speed seconds floyd imo and roy is 3rd, and the only reason calderon is 2nd is because he gets hit more thna he should. roy is past his prime but in his prime, he would be 2nd to floyd in overall speed.

floyd's style is a classical style with unorthodox mannerisms sort to speak. the thing is, his speed is the best, not because of his handspeed or footspeed or counterpunching speed, all that plays a huge factor, but it's his ability to combine all of those attributes into his style and do it while throwing very sharp, correctly thrown punches and not getting hit too much in the process. add to this, his body placement makes his blocking amazing to watch whether he is on the ropes or in the middle of the ring, this is why he is the fastest. and let's not forget how accurate he is. he can do it all, and yes, he has very fast hands, but doesn't have to showcase them off all of the time because of how fast he is in other attributes. he can counter with a right hand or left hook fast as ****, and has shown this at the higher weights, and although his speed has diminsihed slightly at 147(mainly due to age and him sitting down more on his punches for more power), he is still in tip top shape and his upperbody movement is still as elusive as it was at 140 imo. his handspeed is shown, not in combination punches that much anymore like it was at 140-130, but he is still as accurate as ever, that's because his timing is immaculent, and this is due to his overall speed. no other fighter on that list including roy jones or calderon has what mayweather has overall, it's not even close, roy had it yesteryear but not anymore, and even in his prime, as elusive as he was, roy never had that overall fluentness like floyd had, especially when floyd was at 140, and yes, even with only 3 fights under his belt.

oh yeah, and guzman is fast as ****, but his fluentness is not on par with floyd's or even zab's for that matter, and guzman's style is a good style, and i feel he would **** on pacman if they fight, but he isn't the fastest overall.

anyway, hate or love my post, it is what it is, floyd is the fastest overall, point, blank period.

Which is strange, because he's not as fast as he used to be IMO.

I personally think Shane Mosley, Roy Jones and Pernell Whitaker ( at their best ) were faster than this current crop. In terms of handspeed, combination punching speed, ability to avoid punches and fast feet.

I picked Mayweather from this bunch. Its true that Zab seemed to have the handspeed edge in their fight but I think Floyd was faster five or six years ago when he was fighting the likes of Corralles and Manfredy.

Fastest hands I've ever seen any weight......Roy Jones! It was blurring against Bryant Brannon, Vinny Pazienza and Tony Thornton ( single shots and combinations ).

Judah has fast hands, but I dont know if 'serious fact' Revs is right on this. Have his punches been put through a synchroniser for comparison? He doesn't look as fast as a peak Roy Jones on single shots or combinations to me.

I'll bet he doesn't look much, if not at all faster than Mosley when they meet!
