Don't want to get in this cause I have nothing to do with it but you can't come to a thread with B Hop fans, talk bad bout him and not expect people to fire back. His style was defensive so ofcourse he's not going to be the most exciting boxer but you can't talk bad about his style like that because it is and was used by many. He accomplished great achievments, maybe not the best the sport ever saw but he was a great boxer. I think we should leave it at that. In a recent interview with another boxing website (most of you know which one) Bernard Hopkins announced he is retiring from the sport of boxing at 43. He went on to say he respects Joe but thought he won, that he's too old to put on the kind of pressure he normally would, and that he wanted to thank all of his fans for supporting his career and hopes he goes down as an all time great. Thanks for the fights B-Hop, you truly are a throwback fighter which is why some of the new, young idiots who don't understand boxing can't appreciate you.
