There's a catch twenty two in nearly everything involving boxing.

If Joe beats Pavlik, people will say he beat a MW.

Joe said he only wants big money fights from now on in. I reckon there's more Money to be had for Joe if he fights RJJ instead of Pavlik?

There has to be. Roy Jones is Roy Jones.

But Pavlik is the great white American hope. I'm sure that's worth a lot of money. It's a shame his great grandfather wasn't Irish.

Calzaghe is a no win situation. He faces a younger and undefeated fighter, if he beats him then people would say he beat a smaller fighter. Or he could opt to fight RJJ, an older fighter, if he beats him people would downplay his win as he's past his prime.

That's just the way it is for Joe unfortuantly.

Like i said earlier, Roy Jones looks better on the resume.

Roy goes not have the fight in him anymore , he could potshot an old smaller Tito but that wont work with Cal who would take it up to him and the currrent Jones wont handle the pressure , and the worst part of the equation is prime Roy at 168 would flog JC ,, Id sooner Pavlik because he is prime and comes to fight .

If he wants to test himself, if he wants to fight a fighter at his peak, if he wants what WE want he'll opt for Pavlik. If he wants a big paycheck to KO a once-great, now chinless former champion he'll fight Jones.

A win over an obviously shop-worn RJJ is pretty much meaningless at this point.

But.... Roy Jones would come over here. Roy also want to fight him. So on balance Roy, and the fact I would go.

I'm sure Warren would prefer Pavlik that guy is made for Joe.
Pavlik called out Calzaghe after his points victory over Taylor... Pavlik is the harder option, he's fighter in his prime and Calzaghe will have to drop two weight divisions... You make no sense.
