I'm talking in his present condition. He tries to mug, clinch, butt his way to victory.

Against Joe he had his right hand working beautifully then he ran out of steam in the late rounds and was sickening for then on. It's tough to watch. If he was a nicer character outside the ring i'd cut him more slack but he's a twat.

If Hopkins was British he'd have made no money out of boxing. He's ridiculous.

To be fair to Hopkins, who I dislike, he was a good boxer and was the best middleweight for several years, but he didn't make much money because of it until Trinidad and Oscar came along.

I re watched the fight last night, Hopkins clinched 321 times over the 12 rounds. On average he clinched 1 time every 7 seconds. In nearly all the clinckes he came in with his head. That is not boxing and a normal ref would not have allowed it. If he got points deducted and was forced to acutally box, he would have lost far more easily.

I'd rather he fight a dirtier, ugly fight than those that foul to save their skins when losing a fight. I'd rather a fighter follow his straight rights w/ their head and hit while holding than do blatant low blows while losing to get time.

ide rather have a fighter who throws punches and not slap flurries at the end of rounds, and still wins. i saw a replay where he was slapping, and it was on the Uk brodcast.

He used the same punching technique when he caught Hopkins JUST BELOW THE BELT that he uses in his "slap flurries". Funny how the most feather fisted fighter becomes a devastating 1 punch KO artist when it suits you, don't you think?

Get a grip, Hopkins lost to a white boy, cry somewhere else about it f.a.g. boy.

He openly admits he likes dirty tactics. We've seen him headbutting the **** out of opponents frequently - he pretends he's been low-blowed. The guy is a danger to his rivals health and careers and his behaivour is detrimental to the sport of boxing.

Was saturday a good advert for boxing? Most certainly not.
