4. Too unskilled (Corrales against Mayweather)

6. Hasn't fought anyone (Adamek against Dawson)

Do you know which of those categories Miguel Cotto falls under? None!

He is at the proper weight, where he is very big, but doesn't kill himself to make weight. He isn't past his prime at all, but he is a very established great fighter/champion. He is one of the most skillful fighters in the game and has one of the best resumes in the sport that I can think of. Not only does he have some great names on his resume, but he has beaten most of them in a very impressive fashion. Oh yeah, and he also has a tremendous amatuer background which is always a nice addition to any fighter.

Is there another beast in the sport who doesn't have a ready-made excuse attached to them if they lose? I can't think of any, at all.

Im glad you guys feel this way...I know Mayweather would trash him..thats just seals Mayweathers legacy even more.

Having the tools, and actually putting them to the test are 2 totally different things. Nobody is saying that he DOESNT have the tools, but u dont win fights by "saying" that u can beat someone. U have to actually get in the ring and prove it.
