Hopkins uses feints, which were favored by "old-school" tacticians like Ezzard Charles, Jersey Joe Walcott and Archie Moore. He is the classic counter-puncher, the kind of guy who it's impossible (so-far) to dominate.
If you make Roy Jones look human in 1993 and still have it to make Calzaghe look awkward in 2008, you have my respect.
As for Ruiz, there is very little athletic quality to what he does.
Ruiz can't fight any other fight cause he doesn't have the athletic ability. Bernard has the athletic ability to fight but choses not to because he's afraid of getting hit. Bernard can also ride the bicycle.
