I never said that the man was a great fighter just because he has been a World Champion for well over a decade and has beaten the likes of Eubank, Lacy, Kessler and Bernard Hopkins.

I believe that he has to do more to confirm himself as a great fighter.

I was just pointing out that the racism we see on these forums, and in life in general, is truly pathetic.

You are right about British fighters being exposed over and over again, though. England's last Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World was badly exposed by America's best, I agree.

It's good **** that Calzaghe won the fight in regard to the overall state of boxing. He brings more interest from Europe with him, and can still provide exciting fights against the young lions out there.

When that is said, Calzaghe didn't quite turn out to be the monster everyone in here claim him to be, did he?

THe only thing all of them ****s that picked Hopkins has in common is intelligence.
While 360 smart people claimed Calzaghe would school, beat and KO Hopkins, those guys predicted a close, tough, rough and ugly fight.

Calzaghe is better than I gave him credit for, I'll give him that.

But I bet alot of people picked Hopkins just because fans like you guys are talking out of your arses.

I don't know who should be laughed at, the ones picking Hopkins in a close, rough and tough fight.

      Or

Those who picked Calzaghe to win by domination, KO, easy DC or DQ.

I like Joe and wanted my fellow Brit to win, I just felt he wouldn't, and I had my reasons (Cba to list them all.) I was right about Joe not hurting him or knocking him out. And I thought if it went down to the judges cards then they'd favour Hopkins. At the end of the day it could have went either way.

And anyway I had 1k on Joe decision on that Face book boxing application

Last night I thought Joe got very lucky with the decision, Certainly wasn't vintage Joe, but in hindsight I must say he deserved to win a lot more than Hopkins, despite landing nothing of much substance (the odd jab/cross) mainly slaps.
