Well, the knockdown had plenty to do with it I'm sure. He felt Hopkins power multiple times throughout. According to Woody Harrelson in 'White Man Can't Jump' a Black man would have never been willing to do what Joe did to win - and that's not look good.. Hey, Woody said it. Not me.

Hopkins DID land a FEW nice shots, but apart from that what did he try to do ? nothing.

Joe was dominating the centre of the ring, throwing more and dictating the pace for the remainder of the fight.

I have always told people to forget the 1000 shots a fight,that happens when fighting unknown fighters,not people who can put Joe on his ass like Hopkins did.

Benard is a great fighter,he showed it today though he was robbed,even Steve Wonder was talking about it.

My perception on Joe hasnt changed,a European B Level fighter who tries to capitalise on has beens,no wonder he wants an over the hill fighter like Roy Jones now.

Yeah, i thought Hopkins looked a real all time great running around the ring feigning injury. There is his legacy for you, cry baby cheat. He looked like an elephant had stamped on his ****, it was embarrassing and showed him up for what he is, totally lacking in class as a human being.
