I dont agree though that Joe is mean spirited. His character is the reason why he's my favourite boxer, one of the most grounded people in boxing, who is just experiencing the attention after all these years. I hope in time you might see more of where he's coming from.

I don't think hes mean spirited all around or in general...Its just personally he comes off that way to me at times. But everyone sees things different. I can see how someone could find Roy Jones to mean spirited. Its all the way we percieve someone.

yep very true indeed. perception is key. Jones, Taylor, Johnson, Mosley, Calzaghe come off as nice guys of the sport to me.
