Cong**** to Joe and his fans...

Great win for Joe Calzaghe, no excuses are coming from this B-Hop fan. Cong**** to his fans all around the world. I personally don't like him as a person(mean spirited show boating), but that doesn't stop me from giving him credit. I hope he fights Roy next, I picked Hopkins to lose this fight. I think Roy has a style that could match Joes. By the way if some of you are wondering why I give Roy a pass for show boating...its because I think Roy is a nice person, and he does it in a playful way. Calzaghe just comes off as jerk to me. But that just me, I'm just saying my opinion. No one has to agree.

Good post, one of the only reasonable B-Hop fans out there. Props to B-Hop, I didn't really think he had it in him to go all 12 with the workrate of Joe.

Its pleasing to hear a Hopkins fan with a bit of humility. Sorry that you had to see your boy losing, I experienced it with Hatton in December, it wasnt nice.

I said in one of the other threads that TRUTH would come in and be reasonable on the part of Hopkins fans

Joe Calzaghe is a great fighter. And I'm very happy to see that many are acknowledging the fact that I never disrespected him from the beginning. I've always respected him as a fighter. Bernard looked good, and did the best he could. But Calzaghe won because he landed more and threw more.

When Hop came forward he was successful. But you can't win going backward that much and getting outlanded (even if not hard punches) 2:1

Exactly. And thats why I picked Calzaghe to win. I knew that it was bad style match up. We all knew that, that why in my user title I have the fingers crossed that Bernard would find a way to win.

Fair play to you TRUTH. Nothing but a legend.

I dont agree though that Joe is mean spirited. His character is the reason why he's my favourite boxer, one of the most grounded people in boxing, who is just experiencing the attention after all these years. I hope in time you might see more of where he's coming from.

                    Anyway, good post.
