He won easily in the end, why? because the flash knockdown meant **** all Calzaghe wasn't hurt(which is a shame)
People are scoring the fight based on the flash knockdown. Calzaghe got upp so fast itwas like he hadn't been hit.

It is a disgrace that Americans give that to Calzaghe - the clean sneak shots were from B-Hop, he made Calzaghe fight at his pace

Bernard won rounds 1-3, 7 (or 8), 10, and the 12 was level with 1 a 10-8 and that's just off the top of my head, I think 4-5 as well he sneaked

The guy has been away from his family since the week before Christmas, eating organic buffalo meat by himself, and you screw your own countryman like that?

Hopkins got off to a blinding start and looked a level above Calzaghe

Calzaghe just didn't landed enough clean shots to justify taking Bernard's title, any way you slice it up

Imagine Hopkins on 36-year-old legs and not 43-year-old... wouldn't be a race

I thought it was very close, although my sopcast was choppy at times.

Bernard impressed me with his ability to impose his game on the fight, and I thought Calzaghe looked sluggish throughout.

I thought Hopkins had the best of the early going, but after say round 4 or 5 it was really Joe who was doing the fighting and Bernard was limited to spoiling.

Really tough to score though.
