      calzaghe hit harder when he was younger but he has broken his hand and now they are fragile if this fight would have happened a couple of years back joe would of still won

        If Hopkins was going after a knockout from the first round he would have been knocked out thanks to a million shoeshines from Calzaghe. There's a reason that Bernard didn't go after Calzaghe following the knockdown: He's a very clever boxer so he knew that if he went after Joe he was getting ****ed up.

          hopkins style is to not get beat up thats why alot of his fights are close and hard to judge but he definitely lost to joe

            Exactly, every single one of Bernard's big wins have come after his 36th birthday. Two of his biggest wins (and arguably the only big names close to his size or the same size as him), came after his 41st birthday.

              What are you talking about? If Hopkins had fought Calzaghe 6 years ago it would have been even more one sided than it was tonight.

              Calzaghe hasn't sat down on a punch in about 5 years because his hands cant take it. He's beating these guys with a jab.

                u saw tonight that joe isnt anything special.. he won it on sheer activity just as i pridicted..
