Calzaghe won rather easily in the end. It's sad the flash knockdown was worthless for Hopkins. Calzaghe just got up as if it didn't happen.

I had Joe by 2 rounds. Hopkins showed his age and as per usual did not do enough to in the fight. He is dillusional if he thinks he won that fight

Most people had joey winning 3+ rounds...
let alone joe winning by 2-3 rounds!
only a very very few group of people had bhop winning by 1-2 rounds
no one had bhop winning 3+ rounds

looks like most agree - good to be back on the boards, will try to post more. not a pretty fight but the right result. I think that joe might struggle with RJJ though....bad matchup given tonight's evidence.

I had Calzaghe winning the fight 116 - 112 but damn Hopkins fought a good fight. I think if Bernard was in his prime he would of possibly knocked Joe out.

Not one of Calzaghe's greatest performances but that is what Hopkins does, he held and made it ugly; he survived and protected himself but that didn't win the damn fight. Joe still cearly won every round after 3 and arguing for Hopkins is insane. He landed very cleanly and more frequently and was in obvious control by the second half. You can dwell on the early knockdown where Joe was up quickly and didn't appear hurt all you want but surviving?
