Not sure about amateur, but hes never faced a southpaw in the pros but he had good sparring against the then IBF super middleweight champion Alexandrio Berrio and a few good southpaws.Comment

He sure didn't seem weight drained 4 months earlier when he had that exciting war with Paul Briggs. If he was weight drained, wouldn't you think that his management would have alerted the press or the public? That was a title fight and if he was weight drained, than i am sure that he would have done that. He seems like an intelligent guy. If you are weight drained, then you can't fight for the full 12 rounds and you gas out. He did not seem fatigued or drained in any period of the fight. He was just confused at the hand speed of Dawson and the fact that he has never faced a southpaw in his pro career. In fact, he brought lots of pressure in the last 2 rounds when he though that Dawson was hurt.He was weight drained, his management comfirmed it in interviews, that's why he moved up 25 lbs to Cruiserweight, that was not the best Tomasz Adamek against Dawson...Adamek had been killing himself to make weight too long and now he is at a comfortable 200 lbs, he was starving himself to make 175...He is just a classy warrior that dosen't make excuses, unlike Miranda who whined and cried about being weight drained against Pavlik.Comment

Exactly. Financially, it's a good thing for Cunningham, who readily admits that he's more recognized overseas than he is in his own backyard. But until his promoter (Don King) elects to give a flying **** about him, he'll be forced to hit the road anytime he wants to get paid. Hence, the "bad news."
Didn't mean it as a disrespect to Europe or anything, just a shame that the guy hasn't been able to fight in the states since early 2006, and most likely won't for quite some time to come.
Anyway, cong**** to Adamek who I thought boxed brilliantly. Bell looked flat from the start, way too complacent, and had no answers for most of what Adamek had to offer. Fighting once a year isn't dong him any justice, but all that said, Adamek simply proved he's the better boxer, and surprisingly, the stronger cruiserweight. He's going to be a tough out for Cunningham, Enzo Mac or any other cruiser that hopes to contend for the top if/when David Haye chases heavyweights full time.Comment

Bell needs to retire, never been impressed by him. He lost that fight to Dale Brown. Adamek vs Cunnigham, I have cunnigham by uni decs.Comment

Todays fight proved that Bell really doesn't have his heart in boxing anymore. He seemed discouraged early on and instead of digging deep and finding a way to win or even do your best to finish out the fight he took the easy way out. I enjoyed watching his other fight, but today's dissapointed me.Comment
