me too, but me knowing the game of boxing as a boxing fan, calzaghe should have no problems, we will see

as a welshman i'm a massive Calzaghe fan. I was hugely confident of a victory for Joe building up to this fight but now i have the same feeling as you that Bernard will pull it off. I hope to God i'm wrong.

I've picked Hopkins all through the build up and laid some good money on him to pull out a decision. You learn not to bet against someone like Bernard. Age is only a number and he proves it. No one can make him fight every minute of every round, because he moves so well and has such a tremendous defence that its not simply a case of exchanging blows with him, like it was with Calzaghe against Lacy who was there to be hit. Calzaghe's gonna have to go after him. And in doing so he'll leave himself open to the big counter right, and make no mistake Hopkins is strong at this weight, he's imposing, he's razor sharp and when he makes you miss he makes you pay. I think that will tell in this fight. I think Calzaghe's gonna be a little overeager, I think he's gonna eat some big rights and I think he's gonna find himself on the wrong side of some roughhouse tactics inside, it's gonna be dirty, punishing and very intriguing. Hopkins by decision.
