David Haye to Sign with Golden Boy?

Sorry if it's a repost. saw this on ESPN's Top Rankings section.

The champ from England intends to move up to heavyweight but has split with longtime promoter Frank Maloney, making him one of the most attractive free agents on the market. So it was no surprise to see him in Vegas at the Joe Calzaghe-Bernard Hopkins fight being wined and dined by powerhouse promoter Golden Boy, which would very much like to sign him. Who wouldn't? He's personable, exciting to watch and could inject some star power into a desperate heavyweight division.

      Your thoughts?

Huge steal for GBP if this happens.

I was a bit disturbed that they let the Petersons go to Top Rank. GBP is still lacking in young contenders.

Would be a good deal for both sides. Haye is marketable and GBP knows how to match their fighters.

Oscar offered him some fish nets so David Gaye is jumping on board.

haye is a complete package already. just a matter of putting him in front of a big enough audience which is why he specifically told wvladimir not to lose either of his two upcoming mandatories.

The next great Englishman in this sport.

                Mark my words.

He will take the world by storm just like Lewis.

Oscar also offered Calzaghe ownership in his new Slap-Box Company, it's called Slap Slap Promotions, Inc. Sure enough, Calzaghe is jumping on board.
