like cotto when he moved up to 147. his chin was shaky at 140 but has been real solid at welter. manny pacquiao got koed in his younger days at flyweight but he's taking super feather punches pretty good.

you never know...... ali was knocked down a few times when he was younger but his chin was granite when he was older. henry cooper knocked him on his ass but foreman couldn't. ken norton broke his jaw and he still finished the fight. the human body is weird like that. haye has skills and a personality (whether you like it or not at least he has a personality) i wish him well. if he does half as good as the last brit heavy that supposedly had a glass jaw , he might not do too bad.

Yeah, I mean Roy Jones didn't get stopped until he dropped back down from HW. Adamek today got hit with some pretty clean, hard shots, but it seems the 25 lb move up has helped his chin. Hearns was stopped at WW and MW, but not at LHW and CW (until he was 41.)

Now if Haye had a chin like Tua, he'd be one scary dude.

finally a brit wanting to go make the biggest fights anywhere including US that hasn't been protected, with the exception of Amir Khan...but that remains to be seen under Frank W.

            ha ha ha

he wishes. haye needs to eat a ton of fried bananas like my boy to get a neck that big to handle those shots!

all haye needs is at least an average heavy chin. he has speed and talent and he can work on his defense. besides i don't think he'll be charging in at 240 lb. guys like he does a cruiser so he'll get hit less often. he can make some noise in the division. at the very least he'll make some good money which is a good thing for him.

                oh it's a joke.

there was a "favorite fighter's weakness" thread before and i listed " eating fried bananas" as tua's weakness.

it's an asian/pacific islander thing. you get asian bananas (they're not like american or european bananas they're big and fat about the size of a 6 in. bread for coldcuts) you cover it in sugar or flour and sugar and you fry them. samoans , tongans , fijians love that kinda stuff that's why they're always so "big boned".

I was wondering when someone was gonna say that. David Haye is a bum! Ricky Hatton is a bum! Joe Calslappy is a bum! The only thing real that has come out of the UK in recent years was Lennox Lewis! Remember this post when Joe and David actually fight a top notch fighter.

Thats good news for Haye, Hopefully Haye can sign a deal with BBC or ITV, if he can get on free TV and be successful he would be big in the UK, we love a good heavyweight.
