Mikkel Kessler: I Hope Hopkins Wins

Considering he was pretty respectful and good willing, I find it surprising he'd root for Bernard just on a hope for a rematch. I mean, have some brains Mikkel, your not getting a rematch. Move on.

He'd be better wishing him well against Hopkins in order to look a better fighter, i.e it'd put Kessler in a better light.

So british fans think that Hatton deserves a rematch, but Kessler doesn't. Kessler fight was much more competitivethan Hatton's ever was. I love to see a rematch if Kessler can do more of what he did in the last round , he coulld beat Calzaghe.

Maybe because he missed three weeks of the most important sparring and fought the entire fight with a broken hand. He obviously fancies his chance if he was at 100%.

Kessler is suffering from the spoiled child syndrome. The fights will not come to him. He seems to only care about grabbing some alphabet belt.

All he needs to do is get in there and fight someone. If he does that he starts moving forward again. Nobody is going to give him breaks and thinking he deserves another shot at a title while coming off a loss is just silly.

Miranda would have been a perfect comeback fight for him to get himself back on everyones radar. His team made ****** decisions and now he sits back and is stuck waiting, instead of taking a great fight when he had the opportunity.

I find it hard to feel bad for him.

Update on when Kessler is gonna fight again:

The talks about Mikkel Kessler and colombian Edison Miranda continues to live it's own life. First was the date of the fight May 24th, then the fight was cancelled, apparently because Mikkel Kessler and his matchmaker Mogens Palle would rather prefer a title fight against Anthony Mundine, which had the Miranda camp threatning with a lawsuit.

During Thuesday, Mirandas name came into play again, when Mogens Palle explained, that the Colombian ran from their agreed fight, June 21st in USA. Mogens Palle said Wedensday, that he had gotten the American TV Station HBO in on the idea, and he was trying to make it possible for the fight to be a title fight.

"It's sad" said Kessler.

"Now I had my hopes up on fighting Miranda, and now the fight is off,"

"I don't know what's gonna happen. But I'm still hoping for a fight in June.
I am ready, that's for sure. I'm training really good, so I really hope I can get a fight soon!," says Kessler.

Kessler must be kicking himself for not taking the Miranda fight, he would've destroyed the overrated Miranda on HBO and gotten some nice American exposure.
