If Hopkins has it his way this will be the worst fight we will see all year, i really hope Calzaghe smashes him.

      Exactly. Hopkins is no runner.

A composed video clip from one fight, repeating the same sequence over and over, does not make Hopkins a runner.

132 clinches over 12 rounds @ 180 seconds per round = 16.36 seconds between each clinch.
        Great stat.

It might be more of this if Hopkins is allowed to do it. Hopkins only chance IMO is to disrupt Joes rythm, rough him up on the inside and use all the dirty stuff he can get away with. Bernhard MUST break Calzaghes rythm with quick counters especially the right hand lead.

Easier said than done I know, and I dont think he can do it enough.

Well with Wright he had to get him out of his gameplan and disrupt him. Smear all over him so Wright's jab couldn't land. Make it a tough physical fight for Wright. Stuff like that.

Hopkins isn't a runner (minus the Eastman fight...) though.

Yeah Hatton hugs all the time and is a big hugging cheat. I hate the Hugman Hatton the cheat. Oh wait, Hopkins? Ah that's ring smarts.

Hopkins will run throw the right then hold fall behind try to mix it inside but Joe will have too much a late stoppage or big UD Calzaghe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't really see people saying this. Hatton roughs up people a lot more then Hopkins on the inside though like hitting them low and on the head.

In defense though, he has to more because he has shorter arms and it's harder to get a good shot. Hopkins likes to headbutt and wrestle you on the inside/tie you up after getting a good couple clean shots.
