Fall miles behind and then try by that time he is puffing like an old steam train.
Does anyone disagree that Hopkins will run all night....

Most likely outcome IMO. I don't see how Bernard can convincingly take rounds against someone like Calzaghe.

This is Vegas!
Im sure if Calzaghe does anything less than outland Hopkins 2-1 he will lose the round.
Then we have Mr Joe "Honarable" Cortez who has become the new Jay Nady as the worst big line referee.Comment

I'm not sure I agree. I think Hopkins has very good stamina. On the other hand, with all the holding during the Wright fight, I'm not so sure about that either. Holding every 16.38 seconds on average throughout the entire fight? That's really bizarre, and maybe suggests his stamina isn't as good as I think it is.
132 clinches over 12 rounds @ 180 seconds per round = 16.36 seconds between each clinch.Last edited by FRKO; 04-19-2008, 01:07 PM.Comment

Yeah, I have to admit I was thinking about in terms of actual performance.
Thing is I have a feeling refereeing and judging will not be a big factor, I feel they might even favour Joe, the momentum seems to be with him somehow.
Only fear I have is that in the US they seem to favour the fighter who lands the cleanest shots, regrdless of how few, whereas in the UK its all about agression. Thats why our fighters fight the way they do.
Calzaghe isn't Hatton though, and Hopkins isn't Mayweather,
