agree haye beats peter. too much speed and skill for peter.
have to disagree with peter not being good. peter is tough and has very good power. that by itself makes up for a lot of things at heavyweight. especially since most heavyweights lately seem to not have much speed and skill. if peter could've gotten his weight down to say 230 and improved his skills just a bit like he is doing now he would have been a solid heavy. nothing great but good enough. unfortunately , like i stated before i think he was thrown in against a monster puncher like wlad a little to early and i think wlad ruined him. i don't think peter pre-wlad would've gone down and get hurt so easily from jameel mccline.

I am usually not a Jameel McCline defender but he's dropped a lot of guys with his hook. Chris Byrd, Calvin Brock, Shannon Briggs, just to name a few.
Sure he lost 2 of the three above mentioned fights, but he does have some power. He just has the ability to lose despite having some power and talent.
Haye is so much quicker than Peter, as he was against Mormeck, but remember Mormeck did drop Haye. If Peter does that, he goes in for the kill.
I am leaning toward Haye based on speed and skill but if Peter touches him he could be down a lot longer than he was against Mormeck.

i know jameel has power. he is 260 lbs. but remember how wlad hit peter with all those bombs? peter didn't even stagger 'til at the end of the fight after being tagged all night long with klitschko power shots. all throughout his career peter's chin was granite until the end of that fight and i don't know if he'll be as durable again. wlad hits a lot harder than jameel. jameel has a lot of ko's but a lot of heavies do. but i wouldn't put him at the top as far ko power go. i think what the mccline fight showed was how wlad damaged him. i could be wrong just my theory. for all we know peter just had a bad night because he didn't see jameel's punches coming but me personally i think sam is damaged goods already at his young age which is sad.
Haye would McCline Peter, only difference is he is much quicker and hits much harder. This is coming die hard wladimir fan, but I have to admit Haye would murder Peter at HW where he is more comfortable/not weight drained, its his natural weight where he can take punches better, similarly to how Cotto was at 140 then moved to 147.
peter is just too strong physically for haye. I could see haye giving him trouble for a while but peter would eventually bulldoze haye
Before Jameel id have said Peter KO no doubts! I thougfht that kids chin was Granite! Now? Haye has a damn good chance but i still think the Nigerian Nitemare would do em! Root for Haye against all these heavyweight chumps tho!
peter would beat down haye. mccline caught peter unterprepared and over cofident. aswell as catching him with an uppercut peter never saw to start to damage and cause the first knock down. if peter can take vlads punchs that he can see coming haye's only prayer is to use hi hand speed and catch peter not looking for a power uppercut.
Vladimir K was not trying to KO Peter. he was following strixct instructions from his trainer, as he ALWAYS does. These were to BOX, use his left, and occasional right, punch at not more than 60% power, to make sure he doesn't leave himself out of position and open for a Peter "swing". even in the 12th rd when Peter was ready to go, K didn't it follow up.
At the time they fought, Klitschko
s career was in a dubious situation. He NEEDED this win...or else?? So he boxed carefully and in accrdance with the new system of Steward. Myself and 5 other guys were watching and we all agreed that Klitschko was holding back his right hand, to maybe 50%.
2 days later, in a interview, Steward said he instructed K not to punch more than 60% power so as not to leave himself open if he missed. He also said that K follows instructions exactly, that if he's supposed to begin at 5.am here's already there 10 minutes before, ready to go. He said it comes from the russian attitude to orders.
