Roy Jones Jr: "I Want Joe Calzaghe Next"

During a recent interview with Frank Warren TV, former four-division champion Roy Jones Jr. called for a fight with Joe Calzaghe, provided that he beats Bernard Hopkins on Saturday night in Las Vegas. Jones is willing to fly to Calzaghe backyard of Wales to make the fight.

If Roy wants to prove he's back....He needs to fight Glen Johnson. Tarver beat him again and proved he (at this point) is a better man than Roy.....I would respect Roy more if he tired to avenge the Johnson KO too. beating some fake Prince,Hanshaw and a retired for 2 years blown up Trinidad shows me little. If Roy thinks he's P4P again he needs to prove it and Johnson would be a great start. Tarver seems serious again and Dawson is the real deal....Roy doesn't derserve them simply based on his name.

Oh yeah as pertaining to this thread.....Calzaghe by easy and embarrassing UD. Roy would actually get outboxed.......

W, L, or Draw or would love to see RJJ go over to the UK and fight Zaghe. The atmosphere would be great and the fight would be pretty entertaining. Speed vs speed!

An old RJJ cannot beat Calzaghe, the younger version of RJJ would easily dispose Joe but i do see this as good fight to watch. Why RJJ would wana figth Joe is beyond me, obv for $$$ but he does need to fight Johnson to redeem himself he just would get hit for 12rnds either way against Joe or G Johnson. Avoiding fights is RJJ at his best, i would have loved seeing RJJ v James Toney 2.
