    Two things:

    1) Kessler was far from average.

    2) Calzaghe losing Saturday would expose that he's not better than Hopkins; that's it. What does exposed even means? Here's a hint: Leija-Camacho Jr. THAT is exposed.

Kessler is a basic fighter who doesnt even know how to throw a hook off the right hand. Hopkins will be painting Calzaghes face all night with right hands and uppercuts. Thats all its going to take. Hopkins defense is superb.. Calzaghes defense is non-existent. A lengendary Philly trained figher vs. a sheltered Wales fighter with an trainer with no professional training experience. Which is why Maccarinelli (trained by Enzo) recently got embarrassed after fighting a real fighter.
Maccarinelli didn't get embarrassed, it was a fight involving 2 huge punchers and Maccarinelli lost, there's no shame in that. The result could quite easily have gone the other way in my opinion, it was all about who landed the first big shot, and fair play to Haye, he did.

I see Calzaghes face getting swolled up tomorrow night and suffering a TKO if it goes that far. Hes not going to stop Hopkins..Hopkins will hold his own on defense but Calzaghe on the other hand is going to get punished because of all his mistakes and lack of defense.

Very good post sir, but I happen to disagree with you on the outcome of the fight.

I think that the 36 year old British fighter will be simply too strong and too fast for Hopkins.

Calzaghe has been open to rights but he also has handled them well; Mitchell tagged him but Mitchell had a brick buster and Calzaghe still shook it off.
