I'm going with Cotto but i don't see no 1 sided affair. It will be a hard fight to score, and if any gets kocked down it will be Cotto. Margarito is big and strong for a WW, he's takin shots all his career at this weight and he even took 154 shots to the head.

you guys really think that cotto is gonna box tony. that's all i see in every thread, i dont believe i read one post about this fight suggesting that cotto is gonna bring it to tony. well that's how i see it. both of them will show respect to each other, and tony is gonna go to work almost immediately. but sooner or later.....**** even after the first round cotto will stop playing that boxing game. cotto's instincts are those of a brawler not a boxer, eventhough since the judah and mosley fights he improved his game significantly. but even tony being this big and tough son of a ***** with that iron chin is not gonna stop miguel from colliding in the center. if the fight is made you can expect cotto to stand his ground. you can believe that. this match up may look decieving but if you break it down you'll see exactly how each man's game plan will play out.

He is after all the class Olympian with the boxing skill/extensive resume. It's good to see however that people know what this fight is.

lol I mean the novice boxing viewer sees Tony's record at 36-5-0-1 and they automatically assume he's the cannon fodder type matchup.
Yeah, the won loss record is not eye catching .I have followed his career and seen alot of his fights to know that he is not a journeyman or chump.

Since the talk popped off this past weekend I've been sayin Tony by close decision in a classic war.

                This fight is 50-50 IMHO.

Cotto on points or Margarito by stoppage.

judging by the temperament of these 2 fighters, neither one is going to give in. we've seen plenty of fights in cotto's career where he was hurt, down, but he always got up and finished strong. a guy like margarito deals with pressure well. you'd almost think that tony is superhuman in the manner in which he fights, but he also knows that miguel is fearless. each man has to overcome something in this fight, it will not be easy for either guy, and it's a 50% split in whose favor it will go. it has as many chances of going the distance as it does ending by knockout. in the end it will come down to will and who wants it more, boxing skills wont save the man who's in trouble in this fight.
